PROGRAMME
DAY 2
BOLOGNA IS THE CAPITAL OF STANDARDS
For European Education
Breakfast at the hotel. Today is Bologna Day.
EXCURSION # 2:
UNIVERSITY OF BOLOGNA
Bologna is the capital of educational standards. Moreover, the oldest European university still attracts young people from all over the world. The university has two museums you can visit as optional:
- Museum of the Palazzo Poggi at the rectorate of the University of Bologna,
- Museum in the ancient building of the University - Archigymnasium.

EXCURSION # 3:
After lunch SIGHTSEEING TOUR OF BOLOGNA (part 2):
Here is what we will see in this beautiful old city:
- The one of the largest Christian temple in the world of San Petronio,
- The most important meridian in Italy (sundial),
- Eloquent frescoes by Giovanni da Modena of the 15th century,
- Piazza Maggiore has been the heart of the city’s urban life for many centuries,
- Architectural features of the city: medieval porticoes and towers,
- The ancient Benedictine monastery - Santo Stefano (seven churches),
- The most important shrines of Jerusalem are reproduced inside,
- San Domenico - the main temple of the Dominican monks. A real treasure of the city.
You return to the hotel on your own with group leaders.

DAY 4
MODENA IS THE CAPITAL OF AUTO BUSINESS.
Maserati/or Lamborghini and Pagani
Breakfast at the hotel.
Being acquainted with the Italian auto industry. Modena is the birthplace of world-famous Italian brands Lamborghini, Ferrari, Ducati, Maserati, and Pagani.
In this business tour, we will visit the Maserati or Lamborghini factories and a new modern creative factory of Pagani.
EXCURSION NO. 6 A:
LAMBORGHINI FACTORY TOUR
We will visit the plant and see all the workshops and stages of the process, a research center and a laboratory. You yourself will see that the manual assembly declared by the manufacturer is not a myth. Each machine is transported on a special trolley from site to site, overgrown with new details. You will have the opportunity to visit the Lamborghini Museum, where the history of the development of this automobile brand is presented on two floors, where there are a couple of famous Formula 1 cars and the equally famous Murcielago.
Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. Founded in 1963 by Ferruccio Lamborghini, at that time he was already the founder of a large tractor manufacturing company.
Lamborghini himself, after the company was founded, owned it for another 9 years. The current owner of the company is Audi.

ALTERNATIVELY, EXCURSION NO. 6 B:
MASERATI FACTORY TOUR & MUSEUM
In the early 20th century, with the futurism movement gaining momentum, the Maserati brothers grew a fascination for mechanics and speed. The brothers were very close to each other and their differing talents and personalities fueled their collaboration.
Mario was the creator of the trident.
He was the only brother not to show a great interest in cars, yet as the creator of the Trident logo, his contribution to the family business was significant. The iconic emblem paid tribute to the city where Alfieri’s business was first established, Bologna, in via Pepoli, not far from Piazza Maggiore. There, a fountain with the statue of Neptune holding a trident, watches over the piazza still to this day.

EXCURSION NO. 7:
ACETO BALSAMICO DI MODENA PRODUCTION OF BALSAMIC VINEGAR/ or VINE FACTORY.
We will visit the production of balsamic vinegar in the village, the place is very colourful, and will find out how this culinary masterpiece is created.
EXCURSION NO. 8:
PAGANI FACTORY TOUR
Pagani is the smallest and youngest automobile factory in the Valley of Motors, but no less interesting. Pagani Automobili S.p.A. - Italian manufacturer of carbon fiber hypercars. Horatio Pagani founded the company in 1992.
Horatio Pagani, who worked in the Lamborghini composite materials department for some time, founded Pagani Composite Research in 1988, a research and development company for the automotive industry. The new company collaborated with Lamborghini on several projects, notably the Lamborghini Diablo. In the late 1980s, Pagani began working on a car of his own design, calling it "Project C8." In 1991, Pagani founded Modena Design to meet the high demand for his design and engineering work and prototyping services. In 1992, he began working on a prototype Fangio F1, and in 1993 the car successfully passed tests in the wind tunnel of Dallara. In 1994, Mercedes-Benz agreed to supply Pagani with V12 engines. The final car was called the Zonda C12. In 2007, the Pagani Zonda F Club Sport set the Nurburgring track record – 7:27.82, and in 2010 - the racing Pagani Zonda R went round at 6:47.5.

€ 2,000 per an adult, € 1,900 per a child (1-10) until 1/02/2023;
€ 2,500 adults/ € 2,400 kids 1-10, after 1/02/2023.
By The Laws of Italy, children under 18 must stay with an adult in the room.

To participate in the tour, fix the price and book your place, you must pay the entire amount at once or get an instalment plan:
- pay an advance for 300 euro by January 15, 2023,
- pay the rest of the amount by February 1, 2023.
